Scoring Rubric for Design a Discovery Mission

This scoring rubric is on a four point scale (4 being the highest). This is given as an example rubric. Feel free to adapt it as you see fit.

Point Value
4	Proposal is complete and follows the given format. Science instruments meet all of the science objectives. Science instruments cost less than $25 million dollars. Science instruments weigh less than 50 kg. Excellent reasoning is given for every science instrument.
3	Proposal is complete and follows the given format. Science instruments meet all of the primary science objectives. Science instruments cost less than $40 million dollars. Science instruments weigh less than 50 kg. Some reasoning is given for every science instrument.
2	Proposal is incomplete and/or format is not followed. Science instruments meet fewer than half of the science objectives. Science instruments cost less than $40 million dollars or weigh less than 50 kg. Does not give reasoning for every science instrument.
1	Proposal is incomplete and/or format is not followed. Science instruments meet none of the science objectives. Science instruments cost over $40 million dollars. Science instruments weigh over than 50 kg. Does not give reasoning for any of the science instrument.
0	Proposal is not attempted.
