Activity for Processing Remote Sensing Images

Purpose:

To use a color scale to make an image.

Materials:

Color markers or crayons, graph paper

Procedure:

  1. Below is the color scale you will use to get your information.

  2. Here is the list of values for your image. Each number represents a picture element (pixel) in the image. The number in each cell designates the color of that pixel.
