on the 100th Anniversary of its Discovery
 

13 August, 1998
"I took these images with my remotely operated 7" Maksutov-Cassegrain & CCD camera. The 1st image was taken on 13 August, 1998 at 1:10 UT and the final image is at 2:10 UT.

Each image is a 30 second exposure and each
of the animation images were taken 5 minutes apart."
