New Analysis on Eros Surface Features
NEAR scientists find that most of the small features on the surface of Eros
likely came from an unrelenting bombardment from space debris than internal
processes. Details of the research, published in the journal Science, are
based on NEAR Shoemaker's October 2000 low-altitude flyover of Eros.
