Science Data Center Mission Operations Stores science data received from the spacecraft and provides retrieval and analysis software for the science teams. The SDC is ultimately responsible for archiving data to the JPL/NASA Planetary Data System Small Bodies Node for distribution to the world science community. People, processes, and facilities for planning, control, and assessment necessary for conducting the mission. Mission Ops provides concurrent engineering of spacecraft and ground system support, all day, every day. Mission Design Science Team Work Areas Responsible for integrating science goals, launch vehicle guidelines, spacecraft design limitations, and operational factors into design of propulsive maneuvers and spacecraft trajectory. Mission Design also provides trajectory data and supporting analysis to assist scientists, spacecraft system engineers, and project management. MSI NIS
